There are experiences in life that don’t just impact you, they completely define who you are. The LID Program at Arrowhead is one of those experiences. The program uses Arrowhead’s disability camp ministry as the learning platform and living classroom where individuals affected by disability are not just seen, but deeply loved, known, and valued.
As a LID Student I can say without hesitation that it has changed every part of my life. What I thought would be a season of serving others became a season where God is transforming my own heart. Through experiences with my campers and their care providers, I found joy in its purest form, growing humility and resilience, and faith that reshaped my perspective on what it means to truly love like Christ.
